Joystick control for 8345

(1/1)

Haymaker:
Phillnut post a couple pictures of the pressure line coming off your pump maybe I can give you some suggestions of how to do it.

I can get a cable operated valve with a joystick and power beyond to connect between the pump and the 2 spool control valve.  My tractor does not have the Belarus valve it has the Husco valve on it.  The only pictures I have of the valve is in a parts manual for an 825.  8345 is not on the MTZ site.
I have not taken all the dashboard covers apart, I recovered them a couple of years ago and it was a pain then...  From looking at some pictures of the 825, it probably has those blasted banjo fittings on the valve.  If all else fails and it is a steel line I can get a braze on fitting and cut the line in two.

Anyone have any experience with this??

Yes I've seen lots of Belarus tractors plumbed for an extra set of spool valves for a loader joy stick.  On mine all that was done is they disconnected the line from the pressure side of the pump , hooked a line up to the extra spool valves then ran a line back under the cab and connected it to line that was disconnected from the pump.   Some fabricating/welding will need to be done in order to hook up lines. etc.  On mine the flange on the pump was removed and a fitting for a 1/2 or 3/4" pipe thread welded onto it.

Talk  MTZ they may already have a kit put together for this to make it easier.  Or if you have a welding shop near  I'm sure that if you took the original steel line off the pump (if that's what style you have) they could cut and weld on the appropriate fittings to hook lines up to from the joy stick loader valve.

The picture i posted is off the internet of some guy replacing a pump. Too bad he didn't pressure wash it all off first. But anyway you can see how the flange that bolts on the pump on this one is made for a hose to hook up too.  You can get flanges like that or as mentioned get one made.

Phillnut:
Can it really work? If it really I want to get it a lot. Do not know where to find it.
