You did nt specify whick high/low was out of gear.  If it is the one on the gearshift, then  I always pull or push the shift lever into the desired gear and let out the clutch to make sure it is fully engaged.  You can tell by the engine or trans noise.  Then I put it into the desired gear for work.   If you are talking about the high low 25% reduction on the little lever in the floor, I have had this one slop out due to mud and junk built up under the pedal lever....Hope this helps.  Rarely is there any real damage inside the transmission.  I believe that geabox could easily handle over 100 hp....

On my old 825 I've had it slip out of gear the odd time out of the blue.  Does that have the steel or plastic dash?

Belarus 820 transmissiom problem

Hi everyone. Im new to the forum and was hoping that someone else has run into the problem. Anyways. I was disking on Monday and all of a sudden it felt like the tractor slipped out of gear. After looking at it it seems that it has something to do with the high low gear. I dont have any gears from 1 through 8 but have 9th gear. By no means am i a heavy duty mechanic so im looking for a little bit of insight. So far im leaning towards it being that the spline sleeve shaft on the intermediate shaft has sheared right at the thrust washer.
