Well I had a quick look on the old belarus canada website and it doesn't list that model on there as one they sold in years past but obviously they did. Have you tried contacting the mtz head parts guy Ray spares@mtzequipment.com ?? Send him the serial number plate pic  and ask about getting an owners manual. Or see what current tractor its the same as . They do have downloads for manuals and service manuals on the mtz website. As it would be a lot easier to help you out if I could see a wiring diagram or even a parts diagram. I'd just order the owners/service/parts manuals then you have it.  When I got them for mine they were cheap vs my other equipment by far.

They used different Model numbers from year to year for Canadian models vs. US models back in the day.  Then they quit bringing them into N/A for a few years till now again with MTZ being the new N/A distributor.  Is this a 4cyl engine as it looks like a 122hp model possibly the older version of MTZ 1220.  Take a pic of the interior where the MFD switch is and where the MFD drive shaft attaches to the right side of the trans there.  Wouldn't hurt to take a pic of the serial number plate.   It's usually riveted to the rear of the cab.  Then we can find you a manual.   Tractor looks good is that the one that sold back in Sask.  May 2015 with  only 1000hrs on it? I wondered what that went for.... you probably got it quite reasonable.

Thanks for your reply.  I agree, it will likely be something simple.  I'll try to jump 12v to the switch and see.  I bought tractor at auction and it turned out to be an electrical disaster, wires cut and spliced all over.  I did not get a manual with it.  Actually, I am struggling to find much information on the 6400 model anywhere online even.  Is it that rare?

6400 ?  Can't recall  a Belarus tractor sold in Canada with  that model number. There were 6420 models(6cyl)  that were 125hp.  Can you give more info, post a pic.  What hp is it?

You say the MFD  switch has no power to it.    Okay so is this with the key on and tractor running??   I don't have a manual for that one as mine is still just a manual lever style.  Have you tried feeding power to the switch from a 12volt source and see if it works?  If it is electrical as it sounds its probably something simple like at loose connection, fuse or relay at fault.  I need more info.  Does your owners manual have a wiring diagram at the back of it?

I've got a 2006 Belarus 6400 with front wheel assist.  Problem is, front wheel assist has never worked since I bought the tractor.  No power to switch.  Anyone know of a way to bypass the electronics and just engage the front wheels manually?  I don't use tractor much and would like the front wheels locked in all the time.  Any advice appreciated!!
