Yeah you don't see to many of those V-6  4 wheel drive models around anymore it seems as I've read those engines weren't the most dependable.  The bigger ones 701 Krovets that Belarus shipped over were ... impressive.  IAMZ V12  engine running on 16" ball bearing mains!!  Oil prelube system before you start it plus more interesting options.

Hi Guys
I guess it gets pretty cold in Russia/ Belarus where they came from, so they will start in - very cold oc L.O.L.
We had 1500 V6 4wd's here in Canada with Donkey/ Pup starts. I saw 2 V6 Pup starts in a wrecking yard here in Manitoba last month, while getting parts from them to help a friend out.
Not 100% sure but i think they have a water jacket that heats the water in the main block before start up, if they run long enough. the first and last  one I started was a 1500 in the summer of 2002, when I worked in a dealership, so cold wasn't a problem .But that video doesn't do the noise they make justice by half.

Old Belarus with the little 2 cycle starting engine option.

I find it hard to believe it was that cold in the video but handy option in a remote area for sure!
