I've been able to start it first try everytime since then. Just gotta feather in the decompression lever real slow. I've ordered a new solenoid anyways because of that loose stud.

I've not fooled with those little 2 cylinder motors. But if you have loose cables/connections that's an issue as it needs to spin over fast enough.  Be sure the electrical connections are clean, tight and in good condition then go from there.  If you feel its cranking the proper speed and it still doesn't start we can go from there.  Also was it cold out when you tried to start it as that makes a difference too.

T25lb starting problems
« Reply #1 on: December 19, 2015, 06:00:08 PM »
I just picked up a belarus t25lb. When I bought it the guy clicked on the battery gave it some throttle pulled out the decompression lever cranked it up a bit and pushed in the decompression and it fired right up. Then I get home with it same startup routine and I can't start it. Killed the battery and had to jump it till I finally got it to start. When Im cranking it and push the decompression lever in it just stops, not enough amps to crank it, even when jump starting it. I've noticed that the stud from the starter to the battery is loose. Once it's started it runs great. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
