« on: April 09, 2017, 07:59:43 AM »
Hi, I have a 572 4x4 that was leaking hyd fluid from the rear differential lock casing, I have disconnected the line from the power steering pump to stop the leak and would like to fix it now. can anyone give me some advise on what I may need for parts. I the parts diagram it show a rubber diaphram, this may be the problem but I may need other parts as well. Also has anyone did this repair? is it a big Job? I am not much of a mechanic. Thanks for the advise. Jerry

Thankyou to imperial1960 and MTI for the help, I added some fluid to slip clutch in middle if front drive shaft and torpedoed bolt adjustment to spec, yes it was not tight enough, I have also moved my tires wider by 2 inches each side and my chain no longer rub. All I need now is to try out the 4x4 next snow, thanks again for your help. Jerry

Hi,I have a 572 4 wheel drive that seam to be working some but will not spine the tires unless they have very poor traction no mater if I have the shift in automatic or full time 4 wheel drive, when in full time 4 x 4 the back wheel spin but not the front a it makes a funny noise as if something is slipping. Is there seperate clutch for front wheel drive or can anyone give me some ideas. My second problem is that is use the tractor for snow plowing and put a set of chains on the rear tires but they scub the cab , is it a big job to shit the tires wider, since I have about 1/12 inches to the en of the axle, any help would be good, Thankyou Jerry

Hope someone can help me , My Belarus 572 is loosing power steering fluid and the only place I can see dripping is from the rear brake casing or the final drive casing , there is 2 drain holes in this casing which is in front of the rear axle on left side. I dont know what power steering fluid is going back there for but it looks like a small line runs from the front of the tractor ( the power steering pump) back the fram to this round casing. Any advise on what this is for and how to look into repairs would be very helpfull. Thanks

Hi
I have the circulator water heater but at the wood lot has no electricity, the oil now is 15w40 which I can change but warm weather is close, I hope. As for the type of heater I don't know and don't know how to tell, I am no mechanic for sure. What do I look for. Thanks Jerry

Hi
I am installing a hydraulic angle snow blade on my allied loader on a Belarus 572 and need 2 hydraulic line for power angle with controls. Were is the best location and method of doing this. Can I run from the 2 remotes at the back and do the 2 levers on the right side of the dash operate these remotes, or is there a beter method of doing the with quick connect couplings. Thanks Jerry

This tractor only has one shift stick with a 4 position knob on top and only 2 positions, forward and back. I don't even know how many gears I have. I thought the 2position foot shift was the hi and low range. I will try what you say tomorrow and let you know what I find. Thankyou for getting back to me and the advise Jerry

MTZ Tractors - Old Models (Belarus) / New owner of Belarus 572

Hi , I am a new owner of a Belarus 572 and have a few problems if anyone can help me. First issue is the gears in transmission. I dont know how many forward and how many reverse. The shift is located on the right side , with a shift knob that turns and the lable on dash show 9 forward and 2 reverse with a step down gear reduction petal on floor??? When I turn the knob at the first 3 knob loction it changes gears BUT when I turn the knob to the counter clockwise  ( 4th possition to the left) the transmission is in nutrual with no gears wether the shift is ahead or back ???? The pattern diagram on dash shows  a 11 when forward and 1 when back and nutral in middle. When I tried the gears in this location the whole thing went into nutral and I had no gears no matter what location the knob or shifter was in, finaly after turning the knob and shifter back and forth several times I finaly had gears back??? If anyone could help explain the shift pattern and number of gears and how to find them I would be very thankfull. Also can I shift on the fly or do I have to come to a complete stop.
Also the pull knob for the differential lock, do I have to hold it or is there some way to lock it in, mine dont turn?? should it. Thanks again for all the help. Jerry
