MTZ Tractors - Old Models (Belarus) / Re: Fuel lines
« on: February 21, 2015, 03:19:05 PM »
I have a belarus 562 less than 500 hours it.Im wanting to replace plastic fuel lines from tanks to injection pump. Can i reuse the bango fittings then install new plastic or rubber hose?
Unfortunately the original plastic fuel line do not stay useful many years. Original banjo fittings instead can be reused in my opinion. I rebuilt my MTZ fuel lines with the plastic truck pneumatic lines and have no problem during last seven years.

Hi everybody!
Iīm from Finland, we have official Belarus Tractor Club of Finland. We have had similar forum since 2007. At the beginning have only few users and there was pretty quiet, but slowly the number of the users has increased and just today we have 689 users. Mainly somebody have a problem and just like here, other users share their experiences and advices and problem is solved.  Unfortunately there is all in Finnish http://www.belkku.fi/foorumi/index.php , but least you can look some photos in sites http://www.belkku.fi/kuvagalleria/index.php and then write to forum if you want to comment (writing requires registration). You can also see photos about club membersī tractors in  the frame number list http://www.belkku.fi/runkonumerot.html there click MTZ, LTZ, HTZ or Muut (others), then click Takaveto (2WD), Neliveto(4WD) or Muut (others). Not very simple, but least you can see mainly old MTZ tractors from 1950īes to present. Good luck to you with forum and MTZ tractors.

With problems in fuel lines,  the main problem is just in the banjo fittings. It seems to be able to collect all kind of impurities flowing in the stream. This problem will appear mostly in old MTZ-tractors, specially, which has been not used for years. Problem is caused by corrosion in tanks. Rost is very capable of block these fittings, but donīt worry, cleaning fittings and regular driving will finish this problem.
Full exit with this problem is reached with plastic tanks, spare part numbers 1221-1101510 or ЯВАГ1221-1101510 with tractors with "hoist" witf one tank. 80-1101510 and 80-1101520 with two tanks.
