« on: September 27, 2019, 09:13:24 PM »
Oh why the engiine and fuel pump are in separate manuals is this 2 cylinder air-cooled engine was used on multiple tractors and other equipment, so wasn't even a Belarus engine, but like Minsk in now using Mercedes engines, so this is made by a different manufacturer.

Just to clarify:
Belarus 250, 300, 400 series (all with Air cooled engines) were produced in Russia, using "Vladimir" made engines.
Belarus 500,800,900 series (water cooled) were made in Belarus, using Belarus engine (Minsk Motor Plant)

MTZ Tractors - Current Models / Re: New mtz reviews
« on: February 23, 2019, 06:52:06 PM »
Do you think that price point is warranted btw?
If we compare with 70-100,000$ for most majors, we believe 46,200 $ for a heavier and simpler tractor is a very fair price

Yes the Asian (South Korean's) sure have lots too offer in the under 100hp range for sure.  Looked at a Kioti last month the largest they offer here currently - 110hp  engine, 93hp pto.  Sure it was nice, nice fit and finish, had a lot of emissions stuff on it too though.  Trans had 32 gears and a hi/lo power shift on the stick with F/R power shuttle which would be nice. The way it was spec'd out they wanted $90K. This Kioti I saw would be comparable to the MTZ 952 I guess.  That kioti is pretty loaded up with electronics so a little different then the simplicity of the MTZ952. Depends I guess on what yeah need to get the job done. MTZ's niche market is more of the simple design in inclined allowing to repair on farm like it used to be with any brand.

As a reference. New MTZ 952 with shuttle is about 46,200 USD (61,000 CAD). Demo units , when available, dealers sell for less.

MTZ Tractors - Current Models / Re: 1523 Options
« on: January 13, 2019, 07:15:50 PM »
MTZ 1523 comes with air compressor included. So we can add the air tanks and set you up with air operated brakes. Or hydraulic.

Factory option is a front 3 pt hitch and from PTO is also available.

New tractors you can see at trade shows. You can also visit our warehouse in Hawkesbury, ON.
Depends where you are , we might have current owners, some are ok to show their tractors.
For faster replies, I suggest you to email me to aprilik[at]mtzequipment[dot]com

Perhaps if they ever increase their warranty, have free loader promotions, and financing incentives like the other ag tractor makers the horizon will get brighter. It's hard to compete with all that stuff and keep costs down I realize.

Warranty is now 2yrs/2,00 hrs. Extended power train warranty is available up to 5 yrs/5,000 hrs

Look pass all this marketing clutter, at the bottom line: What's the total cost of the tractor, what will be the monthly payment. All else is smoke and mirrors.

Few points:
1) Old owners: call us, we can connect you with farmers who put over 15-20,000 hours. I know a farmer in MB who put over 30,000 hours (no misprint) on his 825, will not trade it. He bought a new MTZ 952 couple of years ago very happy with it.
2) New owners: most happy, especially when they service the tractor on time. Cab is quiter, synchronised gear box is esasier to shift.

3) Is it a good loader tractor. MTZ 1220 does not have proper shuttle, although F/R are opposite each other, some use it as "shuttle like" arrangement.
New MTZ 920/952 offer a very nice mechanical shuttle to the left of the seat, see photos attached

MTZ Tractors - Old Models (Belarus) / Re: 800 900 with loader 4wd or 2wd
« on: November 15, 2018, 09:38:30 PM »
Price difference between 2WD and 4WD is minimal.
Belarus / MTZ 4WD can be easily disengage and act as 2WD.
All equal, I would go for the 4WD.
