Hi,
Neither tractor have anywhere to put the dipstick, and not too sure where I would install one either.

Gearbox has two plugs, 920 has them on the left, and 900 has them on the right. I am assuming bottom one is a drain, and the higher plug is a level check? In addition the plug on the top accessible from inside the cabin, must be the filling point.

Does this sound correct?

Can anyone confirm this?

Hello,
Total volume of gear oil approx. 40 liters.
The level is better controlled with a dipstick.
We have a dipstick in stock.

Gearbox Oil Level - belarus 900
« Reply #1 on: December 08, 2020, 09:35:19 PM »
Hi, I recently bought a belarus 920 and a 900, both are pre-1990.
Neither have a gearbox dipstick on them, and I was wanting to flush the gearbox / rear axle oil and re-fill.
How do I know what level to refill to.
There is no instructions on any of the online material available on the website or in the service manual. I have the original service manual that came with the tractor, and it suggests to see your authorised dealer, there hasn't been an Belarus dealer in Australia for 20 years.
